Here at Wunderground, we’re all about the jokes. Of course, we never shut up about music and clubbing, but always in a funny way, or so we like to tell ourselves to ease the pain! So, when it comes to featuring a mix series on Wunderground, if we were ever going to consider it, then it needed to be hilarious. Hilarious, and mental. Like my imaginary girlfriend.
But it would also be our only musical output pretty much ever! So it also needed to be a mix that would make you smile from the start and make you want to listen to it every single day for the rest of your life. Not at all like my imaginary girlfriend.
But how do you make a mix funny? And how do you do it while still pushing out an amazing mix that you, our beloved readers, will want to listen to again and again and again?
Step in Doorly. Thankfully, Doorly had the answers. He has put together a mix that we genuinely have listened to nearly 50 times in just a few weeks (our skip button is broken) and will continue to do so until he releases Episode 2 for us.
