Washington DC and Chicago socialites and America’s first couple Barack and Michelle Obama are set to release a Capitol Hill themed concept House LP.
The album, entitled White House, is to be released under the production moniker Barelle Beats and will have a classic Chicago 4-4 sound featuring collaborations from house heavyweights Marshall Jefferson and Larry Heard.
The target audience is said to range from middle income Americans, service industry workers and college students, but does not cater to Republicans or those in the higher tax bracket.
The announcement comes days after the power couple penned an open letter to ‘The Friends and Family of Frankie Knuckles’ expressing their condolences and gratitude. This was the writing on the wall for many house music fans and keen observers of the accomplished singer, dancer, beer skuller and occasional politician, Barack, who was rumoured to be honing his production skills in secret behind the Presidential podium at press conferences.
SpyBar Chicago barman, Todd Langton said, ‘Yeah man, he’s always dancing, touching his ear piece, dude’s a bro man, he’s laying it down, secret service style!’
In the Obama’s adopted hometown of Washington DC, up on the hill and down in the streets, public opinion is divided. Many are claiming that Barack needs all the practice he can get with Michelle possessing the real production prowess while the president is just the ‘face’, much like the Obama administration’s time in office thus far.
Barelle Beats already has one unlikely fan in Russian president and “good time fun boy”, Vladimir Putin with a senior Kremlin source stating that Vlad the Raver listens to leaked tracks ‘BeatCare’ and ‘RhythmAid’ during his daily Grindr browsing sessions.
The album is expected in stores some time after “this whole Ukraine thing” blows over.

Now that right there is the icing on the cake.
Ghost produced by Frankie Knuckles.
