White T-shirts Set For Comeback In 2018

A number of high profile social media influencers have claimed that white t-shirts are set to make a comeback in techno scene during 2018.

In recent years, black t-shirts, along with black jeans and black trainers, have been adopted as the unofficial uniform of techno fans, also known as the “techno brigade”, all over the world.

“Techno and techno events have gone so dark in the last few years,” claimed one outspoken member of the techno brigade. “Sure, at first, I thought the whole head to toe in black thing was pretty cool but after the first year or so it gets really boring. I quite like wearing different colours but I was always afraid to in case people laughed at me at techno parties or I got kicked out of the techno brigade.”

“I knew things had gone too far when I was on my way to see Marco Carola play last year and a big gang of kids started shouting at me and accusing me of being a rocker,” continued the techno fan. “I honestly can’t think of a worse insult than being called a rocker, I mean look at me, I don’t even have long hair and I clearly wash regularly. That was the end of it for me, I haven’t been to a techno gig since so I’m really hoping I’ll get to go to one in a white t-shirt at some stage next year.”

Unconfirmed reports suggest the idea to reintroduce white t-shirts back into the techno scene is coming directly from the techno high command.

“I’ve heard these orders have come from the very top of the techno hierarchy,” claimed one techno fan who had just ordered £200 worth of plain white t-shirts on ASOS. “Apparently, they want to shake things up a little and try to attract some new fans to the genre. Techno’s a serious business these days, I definitely wouldn’t go against anything the high command say, you never know what might happen to you.”
