City Banker Seen Dancing On Boiler Room Fired For Pulling Sickie At Work

A successful London trader has been fired from his high-flying job after an opportunistic colleague saw him dancing at a recent Boiler Room, and forwarded the livestream to the rest of his boss.

Hugo Worthington-Weymes was seen fist-pumping on the livestream during office hours having earlier begged his boss to let him go home because of a “sore tummy”.

It is understood that Mr Worthington-Weymes’s colleague stumbled across the video on his phone while searching for snuff videos in a bathroom cubicle on his evening wank break.

“He was quite clearly on something,” said the no-good, snitching colleague, who cannot be named for legal reasons. “He showed all the tell-tale signs: sweating, glazed red eyes and staring into space.”

Mr Worthington-Weymes can be seen in apparent ecstasy, reaching for the lasers and attempting to start conversations with everyone around him, although the crowd appears to be more fixated on being featured dancing on camera than actually making any friends.

A spokesperson for Boiler Room claimed, “this guy is just amazing, definitely the most energetic we’ve ever seen anyone outside of a Night Slugs night.”

Boddika, who was DJing when the scandal broke out, said, “he was being a bit of a dickhead to be honest, I could have slapped him. Just kept asking for more ‘dark techno’ and some track called ‘Found the Ground’ – never heard of it.”

Despite being fired for misconduct it is understood that Mr Worthington-Weymes will still receive his ridiculous annual bonus, which he plans on using to buy property in a currently-shit-but-soon-to-be-up-and-coming part of London. “Probably Croydon”, he said.
